Amy Got flowered

For our first week in December and as it starts to get dark early, we thought we should brighten up the Dental Focus office with a really Summery selection of flowers. Amy has been flowered this week, holding a bouquet of fushia and orange giant daisies, a sunflower, roses and a variation of purple and green chrysanthemums. This week I will educate you on the history of Sunflowers. These beautiful wild flowers originate in North America and are part of the daisy family. Their bright yellow petals and the fact that they can grow very tall (if left wild can grow up to 16ft), usually directly in front of the sun for maximum growth means the ‘Sunflower’ is a very appropriate name. These flowers are also used for cooking to make butter, oil and sunflower seeds are a very popular healthy option on their own once dried out.

Come back next week to find out which team member has been flowered.
