AR (augmented reality) has been on the rise for a number of years on social media platforms and that rise is expected to continue especially as Facebook is introducing the next step by integrating AR options with branded content on its Facebook Messenger.
Using augmented reality on Facebook Messenger means brands will be able to build their own digitally enhanced experiences for their customers. Shopping for products or services will now give customers the opportunity to visualise a purchase before committing.
The new AR feature should get more businesses thinking about how they can utilise Facebook Messenger and interact with their customers in new ways.
As a dental practice on Facebook, are you utilising Messenger to interact with your patients?
